ECOFILM Set
A set for self-made installation of the modern laminate and timber floor heating.

The set contens:

• Strip of heating foil Ecofilm of 600-mm total width (heating active width getting 550 mm), of the 60W/m² or 80W/m² surface input, supplied in rolls of different lengths as the customer requires and in accordance with the laying plan.
• Couple of additional insulating discs (using in case of heating foil length cutting and need copper electrode strips insulation)
• Instruction manual

The set offered in this way is manufactured by means of the modern junction technology whose quality and reliability is directly guaranteed by the manufacturer - Fenix s.r.o.

Advantages:

1. When buying the new ECOFILM Set the need of separately ordering other accessories (connectors, strips for insulated cutting edges of the foil, mastic insulating tape, connecting leads, etc.) is no more necessary, and the assembly and laying may be carried out without the assistance of a professionally trained assembly firm as recommended from both the point of view of the guarantee and long term service life in the case of foils bought without connecting elements.
2. The connection of the ECOFILM Set with connecting leads prepared in advance is just the great advantage because the installer or even the user by himself may very easily, promptly, and without committing mistakes while proceeding in accordance with the instructions annexed, carry out the foil laying. Just the final electrical measuring and connection (interconnection of all connecting leads in the installation box and thermostat connection) shall be entrusted to a professional possessing the necessary qualification.
3. Immediately after ECOFILM Set installation, the laying of the laminate or timber floor may be performed, which in the case of other under-floor heating systems (such as, for instance, water heating system) is impossible. This is particularly appreciated by the floor laying and assembling firms because of the time and work savings.
4. The ECOFILM Set may also be used as a complementary heating only – for getting thermal comfort and agreeable sensation of a warm floor at the places frequently visited by persons (sitting and dining recesses, working areas and the like).

Regulation:
The Fenix Trading s.r.o. Installation:
The ECOFILM Set is installed directly under the laminate (floating) or timber floors in the same way as the standard ECOFILM F606 or F608 foils offered since many years.
The floor structure is recommended as follows:

Room:
Nursery (children´s room)
Total area: 4,3 x 3,1m.

Planning heating system:
Under-floor heating suitable for laminate floors
Recommended application: under-floor heating set ECOFILM Set 80W/m².
Heating foil is possible to install 5 cm minimum distance from the walls and fixed furnishing objects and at least 5-cm distance from the walls).

According to this information is calculated to use 4 pieces of the Ecofilm heating foil of a 3-m length and 3 pieces of the Ecofilm heating foils of a 2-m length (see picture 2.)

Warning: The active (heating) portions of the Ecofilm foil strips may not overlap each other and their minimum distance from the fix objects and walls may not be less than 5 cm.

In conclusion it may be stated that the product - ECOFILM Set - is an important innovation of the Ecofilm F606 and F608 heating foils successfully offered since more than 20 years. In comparison with those standard products it offers a simpler and more comfortable installation that even the final user himself may design and carry out. The long-term experience and tests prove that the technical parameters of the heating foil Ecofilm 80W/m2 (or 60W/m2) ideally suit for the floor heating in combination with laminate (or timber) floors and therefore, the prominent floor manufacturers recommend them.
