The construction of a family house equipped entirely with electric ceiling heating was completed in Jeseník-Bukovice in the year 2006. The house is located on a slope and the windows of rooms which are used during the daytime offer a beautiful view of a valley and the Jeseníky Mountains.  > > >

This detached house was built in Banská Bystrica, in the Pršianská terasa residential quarter. It is a medium-sized two-storey house with no cellar, type DECENTe, with an added garage. The ground floor is the part of the house for daytime use and the total built-on area of the house is 106.8 m² with 151.0 m² of useable area. The heating in the house is provided by a combination of Ecofloor floor heating and ceiling heating with Ecofilm films.  > > >

The house is inhabited by a four-member family; it was finished and made operational on 01.12.2007. It is a standard modern detached house built by DEK, Martin, type SO 01, which fulfills the criteria for placement in the NED (Low-Energy House) group.  > > >

The following two applications were selected to be included among the reference buildings with installed electric heating - a flat, and a detached house in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. In both of them, the heating was designed as large-scale surface heating, involving a combination of floor and ceiling heating with Ecofilm films, and in rooms with ceramic tiling, with Ecofloor heating mats. Control of the heating system is resolved via BMR central regulation in both buildings.  > > >
