On Thursday 24 April 2025, the registration of the battery energy storage system (BESS) – developed and operated by FENIX Group at its industrial site in Jeseník – was successfully completed. “Just after midnight, we were activated via our aggregator, Nano Energies, to provide power balancing services to ČEPS, which operates the electricity transmission system in the Czech Republic,” says Cyril Svozil Jr, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FENIX Group.
