During our 30 years of working in the field of radiant heating, we have faced many challenges and worked on a host of interesting projects. We have shared some of our experience in our catalogue of outdoor applications, but a large proportion of our rather complex projects have still not been documented. We are referring to heating in cultural heritage sites such as churches, castles, châteaux, etc. – buildings where energy consumption is the biggest problem.
For example, it is almost impossible to heat old churches, with their cold stone walls and floors, thoroughly and effectively. Warm air rises to the high ceilings, where it offers no benefit to those attending mass or prayer services. Given the historical value of these buildings, most of them cannot be rebuilt to meet modern needs. However, our experience shows that electric heating can, in many cases, be a genuinely good solution. It is easy to install, offers zone heating, is unobtrusive, user-friendly, can be controlled remotely, requires virtually no maintenance and does not disturb visitors in any way during operation. Last but not least, it offers lower running costs, as the expense of heating unused space is eliminated and the panels reach operating temperature very quickly.
We have therefore put together a catalogue where you will find various electric heating products for churches and cultural heritage sites.
