How to choose the ideal heating system for a modern new-build

Heating requirements for new-build properties have changed significantly in recent years. Thanks to high-quality insulation and low heat loss, it is no longer necessary to install complex, high-output heating systems. On the contrary, there is growing interest in technologies capable of operating efficiently with low heat requirements. In this context, electric radiant heating is proving to be a suitable choice, as it offers a simple solution, a high level of comfort and excellent energy efficiency.

Modern low-energy and passive houses require heating systems with a rapid response and precise control. Electric radiant heating can be easily regulated using thermostats and smart control systems, which allow heating only when it is actually needed. This prevents unnecessary overheating and keeps energy consumption low. Another advantage is the minimal technical complexity – the system requires no pipework, regular servicing or maintenance.

Electric radiant heating systems also excel in terms of aesthetics and versatility. Underfloor heating mats, cables or heating films are completely concealed and do not detract from the appearance of the interior in any way. Radiant panels, on the other hand, allow heating to be used as a design feature, whether in the form of discreet ceiling panels or decorative wall solutions. Another advantage is the even distribution of temperature throughout the room and the pleasant radiant heat without air circulation.

" Electric radiant heating is ideal for new-build properties thanks to its low energy consumption, comfort and maintenance-free operation. "

When combined with a photovoltaic power plant and Battery storage, electric radiant heating becomes a low-cost and environmentally friendly solution. Practical experience and measurements carried out by specialist institutions confirm that, in addition to underfloor heating, ceiling-mounted radiant systems also offer a very high level of thermal comfort. The solutions supplied by the FENIX Group therefore represent a flexible and sustainable long-term choice for both current and future new-build projects.
