FENIX Group is responding to this trend by launching the new CES compact battery storage system, designed primarily for smaller businesses, premises and commercial properties.
The CES (Compact Energy Storage) battery storage system offers a power output of 125 kW and a capacity of 261 kWh whilst maintaining a very compact footprint – the unit requires just 1.5 m² of installation space. An intelligent control system optimises charging and discharging based on current spot electricity prices and forecasts of generation from photovoltaic power stations. This enables users to manage their own energy efficiently, smooth out consumption peaks and increase their level of energy independence.
The battery cells used allow for a depth of discharge of up to 95% and a service life of up to 8,000 charge cycles, ensuring long-term, stable operation. The modular design allows the system to be expanded by up to five additional units, so the storage system can be easily adapted to future operational requirements. Liquid cooling ensures optimal operating conditions, reduces the system’s own power consumption and contributes to greater operational reliability.
Emphasis is also placed on safety and versatility of use. The storage unit’s design is suitable for outdoor installation, and the system includes an automatic fire-extinguishing system. Thanks to its combination of a compact design, smart control and long service life, CES represents a suitable solution for businesses wishing to better control their energy consumption, stabilise operations and prepare for further development in the field of decentralised energy.
