Practical advice on installations and maintenance of printed ECOSUN GS panels

ECOSUN GS printed radiant panels combine modern design, thermal comfort and a personalised look. The frameless glass design is available in black, white and the shades Wine Red, Basalt, Graphite and Platinum Grey. Power ratings of 300, 500, 600 and 850 W are available, as well as a mirrored version ranging from 300 to 600 W. The ECOSUN GS 500 model is suitable for vertical installation, for example in bathrooms with a stainless steel handrail.

The print is applied using ceramic paint to the inside of the glass, so it is protected from damage. The panel is designed for permanent wall mounting. Never cover it or place furniture or curtains in front of it – there is a risk of overheating and fire. It is essential to ensure free air circulation and to maintain minimum clearances from the floor (min. 50 mm, 150 mm recommended) and from surrounding objects (min. 100 mm).

During installations, mark the holes, drill them, insert the wall plugs and leave the screws protruding by about 5 mm. Hang the panel using all four fixings. In bathrooms, install in accordance with the relevant zones. It is important to choose the correct fixing elements, particularly for plasterboard or aerated concrete. The panels are fitted with a safety cut-out thermostat; however, the use of an external room thermostat is recommended.

" Correct installations, safe operation and gentle cleaning are key to ensuring a long service life for ECOSUN GS printed panels. "

Clean the panel at least before each heating season. Always wipe the glass over its entire surface whilst damp, ideally using an alcohol-based glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid hydrofluoric acid, abrasive agents, and strongly acidic or alkaline cleaning products. Protect the panel from lime, cement, paints and varnishes, which may damage the surface.
