Floor insulation and underlayment increase the efficiency of electric floor heating and contribute to its proper installation. They help reduce heat loss, speed up the heating of the floor, and ensure the reliable operation of heating films and heating cables under various types of floor coverings.

Screen printing film

The grid-patterned separation film protects the floor structure from moisture and facilitates the installation of ECOFLOOR cables.

PE film

PE films are designed to cover ECOFILM heating films in underfloor heating and ceiling heating applications. In accordance with standard requirements, PE films form a second layer of electrical insulation, whilst also providing additional protection for the heating films against contact with moisture or mechanical damage.

EXBOARD

An extruded polystyrene (XPS) underlay with high strength and compressive resistance for underfloor heating systems using ECOFILM heating films. It allows connectors and cables for the Heating Films systems to be concealed, levels out minor unevenness in the subfloor, reduces heat loss and dampens impact noise.

F-BOARD

These are special floor insulation panels made from extruded polystyrene, designed to be used in conjunction with ECOFLOOR heating mats and heating cables.

HEAT-PAK

The HEAT-PAK underlay is designed for use in combination with ECOFILM heating foil when installing under carpet or PVC – typically where it is not possible to lay the heating cable in the screed (e.g. retrofitting, refurbishment).

STARLON

Insulation made from extruded polystyrene is one of the standard and most widely used levelling underlays for floating floors.
