The CES M and CES XL energy storage systems combine high power output and large storage capacity in a compact containerised design. The CES M model is housed in a shortened three-metre container, delivering 500 kW of power and 1,044 kWh of capacity. The CES XL version offers an output of 1 MW and a capacity of 2.17 MWh – all within a standard six-metre container. Thanks to their high energy density and compact footprint, these batteries are also suitable for large-scale energy storage projects.

The high-performance battery storage system is integrated into a standardised container platform. The CES M variant uses a shortened container approximately 3 m long (2991 × 2438 × 2591 mm), whilst the CES XL uses a standard six-metre container (6058 × 2438 × 2591 mm). This makes battery installation quick, predictable and does not require extensive structural alterations.

FENIX Group provides storage design, the integration of individual technologies, energy management and technical support directly in the Czech Republic. When you purchase a battery, you gain a partner who understands not only energy storage but also photovoltaics and corporate energy management. For you, this means greater certainty regarding the operation, development and future expansion of your system.

The combination of active liquid and air cooling maintains optimal operating conditions for the battery cells within a temperature range of -25 °C to +55 °C. A stable temperature limits cell degradation, increases operational reliability and enables the battery to be used to its full potential over the long term.

The CES M and CES-XL energy storage systems use 314 Ah LFP cells, which have a declared cycle life of at least 8,000 cycles and allow for a depth of discharge (DoD) of up to 100 per cent. This is one of the safest and most stable types of battery for stationary energy applications, ensuring predictable long-term operating costs.

The CES M and CES XL batteries can act as a backup power supply – ensuring business continuity even in the event of a power cut. The system enables a switchover to off-grid mode in less than 20 milliseconds, which minimises the impact of power cuts on technological processes and critical infrastructure.

The system is usually installed on pre-prepared concrete footings or strip foundations, rising to a height of approximately 30 cm above the surrounding ground level. Earthing strips are also laid as standard during the preparation of the foundations. Depending on the orientation of the equipment, protective conduits containing the appropriate cabling are also routed to the connection point.
The detailed design of the site preparation must always be discussed in advance; where applicable, the design is specified in the project documentation. When selecting the location for the battery storage facility, we assess not only the specified clearance distances but also the accessibility for transport and handling equipment.
