MES battery storage solutions for small and medium-sized businesses

MES industrial Battery storage systems offer a comprehensive solution designed for manufacturing plants, commercial premises and energy-intensive operations. As well as energy storage, they help to stabilise energy consumption. At the same time, they protect systems from power cuts, support the optimisation of reserved power capacity and promote greater use of energy from renewable sources.

Why choose a FENIX industrial battery storage system?

You can scale this flexible solution to suit your operational needs
The battery responds quickly to outages and peak demand
The system’s cost-effectiveness is backed by data
It ensures energy independence for critical operations
It combines multiple advanced features in a single system
It supports the use of renewable energy sources
Development, manufacturing and long-term servicing take place in the Czech Republic
It features its own battery management system (BMS) and intelligent energy management

A flexible and scalable solution

Every facility has a different load profile and different storage requirements. The MES Battery storage system offers a power output of 150 kW and a capacity ranging from 96 to 576 kWh in modular blocks of 96 kWh each. We’d be happy to design the system to suit your current needs. The battery can also be configured to accommodate future expansion of production, the growth of electromobility or increased use of renewable energy sources.

Protection against micro-outages

For many businesses, the stability of the power supply is more important than the price of electricity itself. MES is capable of responding to micro-outages within 15 milliseconds and taking over the power supply to critical equipment before it shuts down. At the same time, it actively covers peak demand and helps to stabilise the company’s load profile without adversely affecting operations.

Data-driven economic return

The design of each system is based on the customer’s actual energy data. MES Battery storage systems help to reduce reserved power capacity, make full use of self-generated energy and capitalise on differences in spot prices. Depending on the type of operation and the use of subsidy schemes, the payback period can be a matter of years.

Energy independence for critical operations

MES battery systems offer an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) function and can switch to stand-alone mode, which allows operations to continue even in the event of a mains power failure. The energy stored in the batteries protects production technology, IT infrastructure and other critical systems from downtime, which can result in significant financial losses.

Multifunctional system

Today, Battery storage is more than just a means of storing energy. It helps to reduce electricity costs, make efficient use of energy from solar panels, provide a backup power supply in the event of an outage, and maintain the stability of the electricity grid. A single investment thus delivers several practical benefits that enhance the efficiency and reliability of the entire energy system.

Support for renewable energy sources

Battery storage systems can be combined with photovoltaic power stations and other renewable energy sources. Batteries enable you to store surplus energy at the time of generation and use it when it delivers the greatest economic or operational benefit. The result is greater energy self-sufficiency and more efficient use of your own electricity generation.

What sort of structural preparation is required for a Battery storage facility?

The system is usually installed on pre-prepared concrete footings or strip foundations, rising to a height of approximately 30 cm above the surrounding ground level. Earthing strips are also laid as standard during the preparation of the foundations. Depending on the orientation of the equipment, protective conduits containing the appropriate cabling are also routed to the connection point.

The detailed design of the site preparation must always be discussed in advance; where applicable, the design is specified in the project documentation. When selecting the location for the battery storage facility, we assess not only the specified clearance distances but also the accessibility for transport and handling equipment.
