CES Hybrid 120 kWh battery storage system

The CES Hybrid 50 kW / 120 kWh is a compact energy centre for households with high energy consumption and their own photovoltaic system. It enables the efficient storage of generated energy and the intelligent management of its use. As a result, it significantly reduces the impact of price fluctuations and the households’ dependence on both price fluctuations and the distribution network.

Making the most of your own energy

A modern household is not just about generating electricity, but above all about using it at the right time. The CES Hybrid home battery stores surplus energy from photovoltaic panels and, thanks to predictive control, optimises energy consumption based on expected generation, consumption and electricity price trends. The result is greater energy independence and improved household running costs.

A high-performance solution with no compromises

With a battery capacity of 120 kWh and an output of up to 50 kW, it provides sufficient energy reserves even for large family homes or residences equipped with heat pumps, swimming pools and electric vehicle chargers. The Battery storage system allows the connection of photovoltaic systems with a capacity of up to 100 kWp and provides a robust foundation for the long-term sustainable operation of households.

A safe solution that will last for decades

The LFP batteries used in the battery storage system enable 100% capacity utilisation and a service life of at least 8,000 cycles. The system includes advanced battery management, active cooling and an automatic fire suppression system. The compact design, with an IP55 rating, is suitable for outdoor installation and long-term, reliable operation in demanding conditions.

Connection of photovoltaic systems with a capacity of up to 100 kWp

The CES Hybrid home battery is compatible with photovoltaic systems with a capacity of up to 100 kWp. It provides sufficient capacity not only for your household’s current needs, but also for its future growth. You can easily combine it with heat pumps, electric car chargers, swimming pool systems or other energy-intensive appliances.

Smart traffic management based on spot prices, energy consumption and energy generation

The built-in predictive system continuously analyses the expected energy output from the photovoltaic system, the building’s energy consumption and trends in spot electricity prices. Based on this data, it automatically decides when to charge and discharge the battery so that energy is used efficiently and the household operates as economically as possible.

Software and cloud data management with Czech quality

The battery energy management software is developed in-house by FENIX Group, taking into account the conditions of the Czech market. System operation data is secure and under the operator’s full control, and is not dependent on remote platforms operated by unknown providers. Users can find an overview of energy generation, consumption and energy storage all within a single programme.

What kind of structural preparation does the battery require?

The equipment is intended for outdoor installation. The specific location of the battery, including clearance distances, is governed by the project documentation and the fire safety plan. To install the battery storage unit, it is normally necessary to prepare a concrete base raised above the surrounding ground level and to provide cable entry points.

The specific installation parameters are always determined on a case-by-case basis.

This is a hybrid storage system with an integrated 50 kW inverter; therefore, under current legislation, a planning permission is not required. The installation itself is quick; given the weight of the equipment, the only preparation required is to ensure the installation site is structurally suitable.

Based on the consumption data and electricity bills for a specific property, we are able to calculate the approximate annual savings that the installation of a photovoltaic system, together with Battery storage and, where applicable, a switch to buying and selling electricity at spot prices, could deliver. If suitable data for the calculation is not available, it is possible to compare current costs with the results achieved by one of our long-term monitored reference projects.

The equipment is usually installed on pre-prepared concrete footings or strip foundations, raised to a height of approximately 30 cm above the surrounding ground level. Earthing strips are also laid as standard during the preparation of the foundations. Depending on the orientation of the equipment, protective conduits containing the appropriate cabling must be routed to the connection point. The detailed design of the site preparation must always be discussed in advance; where applicable, the design is specified in the project documentation. When selecting the location for the equipment, in addition to the specified clearance distances, it is also necessary to assess the access options for transport and handling equipment.
