The ADPSV universal twin-core heating cable offers a reliable solution for a wide range of applications in agriculture, industry and sports facilities. Available in 10, 18 or 20 W/m versions, this cable provides frost protection, supports technological processes and maintains optimal conditions for operations or cultivation.
It is based on a two-core design. The heating core consists of two solid strands, each comprising 7 wires (stranded resistance), with each strand having its own insulation. This is followed by a shared second layer of insulation, full protective screening and an outer sheath with UV protection. This design increases the cable’s overall diameter to 5.3–5.9 mm, giving it the necessary structural strength and ensuring long-term operation even in demanding outdoor and industrial environments. Thanks to its two-core design with a single 5-metre halogen-free cold end, installations across large sites are exceptionally easy and efficient.
Areas of application:
- Agriculture: Soil heating in greenhouses to accelerate plant germination, and protection of vineyards against spring frosts by installing the cable directly onto the trellis wires.
- Industry and technology: Pipe freeze protection and process heating to maintain the viscosity of substances or prevent condensation in tanks.
- Construction: Temperature control of building structures in buildings with spaces cooled to sub-zero temperatures, for example, foundations of ice rinks or buildings for the frozen food industry
- Sports facilities: Heating of both natural and artificial grass pitches, which has been proven to accelerate turf regeneration and extend the playing season.
