The ultra-thin CM 150 W/m² heating mat offers a reliable solution for direct underfloor heating. Its main advantage is its very low profile combined with a higher power density. It is therefore particularly suitable for refurbishment projects where it is necessary to minimise the increase in the existing floor height, whilst at the same time prioritising a rapid rise in temperature.
The system is based on a two-core heating cable with full protective braiding. The cable has a diameter of just 2.7–3.4 mm, allowing it to be laid directly into a thin layer of flexible adhesive beneath the tiles. Thanks to its design, the mat is a suitable choice for damp areas such as bathrooms and utility rooms, but it also works excellently in living areas.
A key advantage for the installations themselves is the two-core design. The mat has just one 3-metre-long halogen-free connection cable (cold end). This completely eliminates the need to run the other end of the mat back to the junction box or thermostat during installation. The underside of the mat is fitted with double-sided adhesive strips, allowing the mat to be secured to the subfloor until it is covered with flexible sealant.
