The ComfortMat 160 W/m² kit offers a comprehensive solution for the easy, DIY installation of comfortable underfloor heating. It is designed to include all the necessary components in a single pack, which simplifies preparation and speeds up the installations themselves. The system is particularly well-suited to bathroom and kitchen renovations, where the emphasis is on rapid temperature rise and maintaining the existing floor height.
The kit is based on the tried-and-tested 50 cm wide LDTS heating mat. It utilises a two-core heating cable with full protective braiding, which guarantees safe operation and allows installation even in damp areas. A key advantage for installation is the two-core design with just a single 3-metre-long halogen-free connection cable. This eliminates the need to run the other end of the mat back to the thermostat during installation.
In addition to the mat, the pack includes a digital thermostat with a touchscreen display, a floor sensor in a protective tube and a detailed installation manual. To achieve more efficient operation and speed up the heating-up process, we recommend installing the kit in combination with the optional F-BOARD thermal insulation.
