The LD 160 W/m² heating mat is a reliable option for direct underfloor heating and is designed to be laid in a thin layer of flexible adhesive directly beneath the tiles. Its main difference from standard ranges is its reduced width of just 30 cm. Thanks to this dimension, it is ideal for installation in small or highly irregular spaces, where the standard width of the mat would require unnecessarily complicated cutting and adaptation. With a power density of 160 W/m², it ensures rapid temperature rise, making it a particularly suitable choice for bathrooms and areas where a quick system response and immediate thermal comfort are essential.
The mat is based on a single-core heating cable with a diameter of 3–3.4 mm. The cable is fitted with protective shielding, which ensures safe operation even in damp rooms. Single-core mats require greater experience and expertise when planning the layout, but this is offset by their very favourable price. For this purpose, the mat is fitted with two halogen-free connecting wires (cold ends) 5 metres in length, which make this step easier.
