ECOFLOOR LDTS heating mats are a tried-and-tested solution for direct underfloor heating, installed in a thin layer of flexible adhesive directly beneath the tiles. Thanks to the low profile of the cable, with a diameter of 3.4–4.2 mm, and the mat’s 50 cm width, it is ideally suited to renovation projects where it is desirable to minimise the increase in the height of the existing floor.
The mat is based on a two-core heating cable with full protective braiding, which ensures safe operation and allows installation even in damp areas. A key advantage for installations is the two-core design – the mat has just one 3-metre-long halogen-free connection lead (cold end), which completely eliminates the need to run the other end of the mat back to the thermostat. The underside of the mat is fitted with double-sided adhesive strips, allowing the mat to be secured to the substrate until it is covered with flexible sealant.
To speed up installations, the LSDTS range is also available. This is technically identical to the LDTS models, but additionally features a self-adhesive fabric covering the entire surface for even more stable and quicker fixing to the substrate.
To ensure optimum capacity sizing based on the building’s heat loss, we offer mats in the following versions:
- LDTS 80 W/m²: designed for floor temperature control in modern, very well-insulated low-energy and passive houses.
- LDTS and LSDTS 100 W/m²: a standard solution suitable for ordinary living spaces and for maintaining a comfortable floor temperature consistently.
- LDTS and LSDTS 160 W/m²: designed primarily for bathrooms and areas where rapid heat-up of the tiled surface is a priority.
- LDTS 200 W/m²: a high-performance solution for conservatories, perimeter zones or wall heating, which guarantees rapid temperature rise even in areas with high heat loss.
