The PSV series heating cable is single-core; its core consists of a solid strand braided from 7 wires (known as a stranded resistance), which ensures enhanced mechanical strength. PSV series cables are therefore designed for underfloor heating systems installed in concrete or anhydrite screed.

Like other types, the PSV cable features full protective screening to ensure maximum safety in all applications. The cable has a diameter of 4.5–4.8 mm and is fitted with two connecting leads, each 5 m long. Single-core cables require greater experience and expertise when planning the layout, but this is offset by their very favourable price. The cables are available in two versions:

• PSV 10 W/m: designed for heating standard rooms
• PSV 15 W/m: the higher output is intended for rooms requiring higher floor temperatures (bathrooms) or rooms with higher heat loss
