The ADPSV multi-purpose twin-core cable, with a power output of 30 W/m, offers a reliable solution for frost protection of outdoor areas. It is ideal for heating pavements, driveways and access ramps, where it proactively prevents the build-up of snow and the formation of dangerous black ice.
The circuit is based on a heating core consisting of two solid strands, each comprising 7 wires (stranded resistance). Each resistance element has its own insulation, which is covered by a second shared insulating layer, full protective shielding and an outer sheath with UV protection. This reinforced construction, with a diameter of 5.0–5.9 mm, withstands mechanical stress very well, meaning the cable is specifically designed for installation in a concrete slab or in a sand bed beneath paving.
The cable has only one 5-metre-long halogen-free connection lead (cold end). This completely eliminates the need to run the other end of the circuit back to the power supply point during installation, saving time and simplifying the wiring process.
For optimal sizing, we offer cables in the following versions:
- ADPSV 30 W/m (230 V): a standard solution suitable for typical applications in detached houses and smaller commercial premises.
- ADPSV 30 W/m (400 V): an efficient option designed primarily for large areas, where the higher voltage allows for the installation of longer and more powerful heating circuits.
