MAPSV 30 W/m single-core heating circuits offer a reliable solution for outdoor anti-freeze applications. They are ideal for heating steps and pavements, and for protecting access roads and ramps against snow build-up and the formation of dangerous black ice. Thanks to their robust construction, they ensure safe and maintenance-free operation even in harsh winter conditions.
The cable is based on a heating core consisting of a solid strand of 7 wires (stranded resistance), which withstands mechanical stress very well. Safe operation and a long service life are further ensured by two layers of insulation, full protective screening and an outer sheath that reliably resists UV radiation. The cable has an increased diameter (5.9–6.4 mm) and is designed to be laid directly into a concrete slab or into a sand bed beneath interlocking paving.
As this is a single-core circuit, it is necessary to allow for the return of the other end of the cable back to the connection point during installation. For this purpose, the circuit is fitted with two halogen-free connecting wires (bare ends) 5 metres in length, which simplify this step and provide sufficient length for connection.
