We offer ECOFILM F floor foils (40/60/80 W/m²) in widths of 60 and 100 cm. Thanks to its minimum thickness of 0.4 mm, the foil can be laid directly beneath a floating floor. In accordance with regulations, the heating foils must be covered with a second layer of PE foil with a minimum thickness of 0.20 mm (which acts as a second electrical insulation layer), thereby creating a Class II appliance.

Strips of the required length are cut from the ECOFILM roll, laid side by side and connected in parallel using connectors and wires (see ACCESSORIES). As further layers cannot be bonded directly to the heating foil, it cannot be used, for example, under tiles. It can be installed under carpets and PVC flooring using HEAT-PAK underlays.

PLEASE NOTE: The width of the heating foil cannot be adjusted; cutting the side copper busbar will render the foil unusable. An underfloor heating system must always be fitted with a regulation system that allows the maximum floor temperature to be limited (floor sensor) and must not be covered by objects (furniture) that prevent heat dissipation. There must always be a ventilated air gap of at least 40 mm beneath any objects standing on the heated section of the floor (furniture on legs).
