The sets can be used to cover the entire floor area or just part of it – for example, in front of a sofa or kitchen units. Installation is straightforward and requires no alteration to the floor’s structural integrity. Depending on the required size of the heated area, you simply purchase the necessary number of sets, lay them side by side and run the connecting cables along the wall to the junction box. With ECOFILM Sets, there is no need to join the films on site, which would otherwise require the use of connecting materials (connectors, wires, insulation) and special tools, as is necessary with films sold by the metre.

The sets are available in two power densities (both in widths of 0.6 m and 1.0 m):
- 60 W/m² is designed for underfloor heating
- 80 W/m² is suitable for underfloor heating and for short-term temperature control of selected floor zones

Both the heating foils and the connecting wires can be cut to length as required (the set includes insulating washers to insulate the foil busbar at the cut point); however, the width of the foil cannot be adjusted – cutting the busbar will render the foil unusable.
