Our range includes three specific models of radiant panels designed for heavy-duty applications:
ECOSUN IKP is a heating panel with an IP 54 rating and a smooth surface, which is ideally suited to workshops, agricultural buildings or premises where the equipment needs to be easy to clean.
ECOSUN IN is a highly durable model with an IP 66 rating, designed for demanding agricultural premises and operations with high humidity levels.
ECOSUN IN-2 is a highly specialised radiant panel for explosive atmospheres (EEx II) with an IP 66 rating, designed for specific industrial applications in areas at risk of explosion.

Proper regulation of temperature is key to the cost-effective operation of electric heating in demanding environments. The most common method of regulating heating panels is through room thermostats, which measure the temperature and are installed directly in the room containing the heating panels. Infrared panels can also be connected to comprehensive systems of regulation that enable zone heating of selected areas.

ECOSUN heating panels operate on the principle of radiation, whereby infrared waves heat surfaces and people directly, without the need to heat a large volume of surrounding air at the same time. In large agricultural buildings, industrial halls, workshops and greenhouses, this method of electric heating prevents heat from accumulating near the ceiling and ensures thermal comfort exactly where it is really needed.

We offer radiant panels in two power ratings, optimised for efficient operation – 700 W and 750 W.

Thanks to their robust construction, these radiant panels are a suitable solution for agricultural buildings, greenhouses, workshops and paint shops. The IN-2 model is the preferred choice for chemical plants and industrial halls with the most stringent safety requirements for explosion protection.

In applications requiring panels with a higher IP rating, the same requirement applies to the associated regulation system. For this reason, room thermostats with greater resistance to moisture and dust are used, or the thermostat is housed in an electrical distribution board and the temperature is measured by a separate temperature sensor extending into the heated space. Thermostats can be analogue or digital (programmable), with room temperature sensing and various setting and programming options.
