ECOSUN CH (Church Heater) panels are designed for installation under the seat, from where they radiate heat towards the floor and your feet. They feature a matt black finish, a protective grille and a silicone cable, allowing them to blend in perfectly with the dark wood of the pews.
ECOSUN K+ infrared panels are designed for installation on the backrests of the benches. We supply them as standard in brown with a Thermocrystal finish. However, we are happy to customise the colour to suit a specific interior on request.

With zone heating, where the panels heat only the people in a specific area, the heating is usually controlled manually according to users’ needs. However, you can also add further elements of regulation to the radiant panels – for example, a timer that switches the panels off when the heated space is not in use.

Infrared radiation from the panels is only converted into heat when it strikes solid objects or people. In historic buildings, this principle is crucial, as it eliminates the sensation of ‘cold feet’ from the floor and increases the perceived temperature by up to several degrees. With radiant heating, the air is heated secondarily, leading to energy savings of 15–20 per cent.

Thanks to their simple installations and high efficiency, these panels are a recognised solution for churches, cathedrals, places of worship and historic halls around the world. The FENIX Group supplies electric heating systems to major historic monuments worldwide. Whilst our ECOFLOOR heating cables ensure thermal comfort in Barcelona’s La Sagrada Familia basilica, ECOSUN radiant panels from the CH and K+ series are proving their worth in dozens of churches in the Czech Republic, France, Romania and even New Zealand.
