The ECOSUN Ultratherm radiant panel provides localised heating in animal housing, dog kennels and large terrariums. It uses radiant heat to simulate natural sunlight, and thanks to its built-in thermal cut-out, it is completely safe to use.

Ultratherm heaters utilise the principle of long-wavelength infrared radiation. This radiation lies outside the visible spectrum and is therefore invisible to the human eye. Thermal radiation does not heat the air but only the solid objects it strikes – that is, the vivarium equipment and the animals present. This method is very similar to normal sunlight and therefore most closely resembles the natural environment in which the animals are typically found. They are fitted with a thermal fuse that protects the panel against overheating. Installations are possible in both vertical and horizontal positions; the mounting frame is included with the product. We offer the panels in brown as standard; they are available in white to order, and other colour shades can be ordered for an additional charge.
