A key advantage of electric heating is its decentralised nature – that is, the ability to heat individual rooms independently of the rest of the house. However, for energy-efficient operation, each room requires regulation that allows a daily schedule to be set for each day of the week, based on the most common daily routine. The thermostat then automatically switches between the comfort and reduced temperatures in the room according to the programme. Naturally, it is possible to temporarily lower or raise the set temperature at any time, without having to adjust the programme.
