The value following the slash in the thermostat’s model designation indicates the temperature range: -40…20°C (/20); 0…60°C (/60); 40…100°C (/100); 100…160°C (/160). The thermostat has an enhanced IP rating and can therefore be installed in damp or dusty environments, e.g. in garages, storerooms, laundry rooms, etc., or even outdoors. It measures temperature using a separate wired sensor (not included with the thermostat); the wired sensor is available in various designs – contact, ambient, standard, with a PVC or silicone sheath – see Sensors for EBERLE industrial thermostats.
