Comfortable radiant heating for bathrooms in Germany

The ECOSUN GS 500 glass radiant panel provided the bathroom of a family home with rapid heating, a modern look and energy-efficient operation.
Germanyradiant panels

A black, frameless ECOSUN GS 500 heating panel was installed in the bathroom of a small family home in Germany as the main source of heating. The panel, with its elegant glass surface, was mounted on the wall to evenly cover the heated area whilst complementing the modern interior design. Thanks to the principle of infrared radiation, the panel does not primarily heat the air, but rather heats people and surfaces in the room directly, which is an exceptionally effective solution in a bathroom with high humidity and frequent ventilation.

The ECOSUN GS 500 reaches its operating temperature in a very short time, which, combined with room-by-room regulation, ensures that owners enjoy the most efficient and targeted heating of their bathroom only whilst it is in use. The panel is maintenance-free and, thanks to its protection rating suitable for bathroom environments, meets the requirements for safe operation. Furthermore, the absence of hot-water radiators has simplified installation and minimised the need for building work during fitting.

The homeowner’s perspective

We were looking for a solution that would not only be functional, but also visually clean and elegant. The ECOSUN GS 500 glass panel fits perfectly into our modern bathroom and looks more like a design feature than a heater. We appreciate how quickly it heats up and the pleasant sensation of radiant heating after a shower. The bathroom is warm exactly when we need it to be. We are extremely satisfied with the result, and the connection to the TFT Wi-Fi thermostat works brilliantly too.
