The original log cabin was used by the owner solely for weekend getaways. Over time, however, he decided to convert the property into a year-round family home, which required a reliable and easily controllable heating system. Whilst searching for a suitable solution, he approached FENIX, as he needed heating not only for the living areas but also for a small home spa.

Underfloor heating had been installed in the original part of the house, but this proved unsatisfactory due to its slow response time and complicated regulation system. When extending the house, the owner therefore opted for electric radiant heating. The new part of the building utilises a combination of ECOFILM heating films, ECOSUN wall and ceiling panels, and ECOFLOOR underfloor heating in the wellness area with a swimming pool. Electric radiant heating provided an immediate response to temperature changes and delivered even, comfortable warmth throughout the house.
