Reference: Radiant panels at the VAHALI shipyard

VAHALI, a company which has been operating a shipyard in Gent, the Netherlands, since 1923 and later expanded into Serbia, opted for ECOSUN S+ high-temperature radiant panels when renovating its production facilities. The panels were installed in a 225 m² workshop, where they provide efficient heating without the need to heat the entire volume of air in the high-ceilinged space. The radiant heating principle transfers heat directly to work surfaces, structures and staff, which is a key advantage in industrial halls with frequent ventilation.

Following a very positive experience, the same ECOSUN S+ high-temperature panels were also used in another 150 m² storage hall. The raised installation of the panels enabled uniform coverage of the heated area with a minimum number of units. The solution requires no hot water pipework or complex maintenance and allows for zone-based regulation according to current operational requirements. The result is stable thermal comfort, reduced energy losses and optimised heating costs across all production areas.
