FENIX Energy Concept – Interim Results

As part of pilot projects, the functionality of the FENIX Energy Concept — the idea of integrating electric heating, renewable energy sources and energy storage in both residential and industrial applications — is being tested in practice.

The operating costs recorded are always supported by invoices from the electricity supplier; they are therefore not theoretical or modelled examples.

As part of the pilot projects under the FENIX Energy Concept, battery storage systems are being installed and operated; these are the result of our own technological development and manufacturing. Control is then provided by a unique proprietary algorithm developed in collaboration with UCEEB at the Czech Technical University in Prague.

The site comprises a complex of refurbished and new production halls, with adjoining brownfield areas offering potential for further development. Automated production lines are used extensively in the manufacturing processes – in particular, a cutting and bending centre for sheet metal processing, robotic welding and handling stations, a powder coating plant and extrusion lines for cable production.
