At the BEL MONDO residential and commercial complex in New Belgrade, ECOFLOOR ADPSV 30 W/m heating cables were installed to protect the garage ramps from snow and black ice. The system is controlled by OJ ELECTRONICS ETO2-4550 controllers in combination with ETOG-56 ground sensors, which monitor both temperature and the presence of moisture. Operation is fully automatic and is activated only when there is a risk of ice forming, which optimises energy consumption and ensures safe access to the building even during the winter months.
Further ECOFLOOR ADPSV 10 W/m heating cables were installed on the pipework for fire hydrants, sprinkler systems, water mains and the roof-mounted HVAC system. Regulation is provided by OJ ELECTRONICS ETI/F-1551 thermostats with external sensors mounted directly on the pipework for accurate temperature monitoring. The solution protects the technical installations from freezing and minimises the risk of breakdowns. The main contractor for the project was PFB d.o.o. Belgrade, whilst technical support for the design and supply was provided by Elmark d.o.o. Belgrade, a member of the FENIX Group.
