The story of a significant boost to energy self-sufficiency

Cyril Svozil Jr.
31.07.2023

At the FENIX s.r.o. production plant, we have decided to tackle the dramatic rise in energy costs by significantly expanding our photovoltaic capacity from 130 kWp to 891 kWp, installed on the roofs and walls of buildings at our site in Jeseník, a 10 kW wind turbine and a major expansion of the AERS industrial energy storage system from 620 kWh to 3 MWh. In the video below, Cyril Svozil, Pavel Kudelka and Cyril Svozil Jr. outline the FENIX Group’s energy requirements and present energy and economic data on robotised production, photovoltaic systems and the AERS industrial energy storage facility, which offers a surprisingly short payback period. The total investment costs for both phases of the FENIX energy solution amounted to 80 million CZK. This story of significantly enhanced energy self-sufficiency will continue with the planned 50 kW hydroelectric power station.
