The BMR HJ is a device that monitors the alternating current passing through it and indicates when the current exceeds a set limit by opening the relevant relay contact.

The HJ 103RX series measures current in all three phases, but has only one channel for regulation that can control three groups of loads. If the set current value is exceeded in any of the measured phases, the first group of loads is disconnected. The device records the magnitude of the current drop, which it uses to calculate the return threshold. If the monitored value is exceeded again, the next group is disconnected after 3 seconds. The group of loads is only reconnected once the current has fallen below the set limit, reduced by the current drop recorded during the last disconnection of the group. The current value can be set within a range of 1 to 100 A in 1 A increments; the current transformers are integral to the controller. This series is designed for premises where three-phase loads predominate. For higher currents, the HJ 11x series with separate measuring transformers can be used.
